Full Day Course – Phone Photography for Social Media

As a photographer, Food photography has my passion. Originally from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am now based in Byron Bay, and work as a freelance commercial photographer specialising in food and lifestyle. I also publish and produce cook books with mouth-watering images for various chefs, nutritionists and other clients.
COURSE CONTENT
Photography for Instagram will always be evolving. Styles and trends are fluid, so the Instagram Photography course needs to adjust.
The one day workshop focuses on a small group of people, what I am trying to achieve is to work with the group and attend to their needs as much as possible.
My aim is to make you, the workshop attendee, comfortable with using your smartphone as a medium to take better photos.
Part of the course deals with the Phone and the various apps to take better images and learn to adjust those images. Sometimes called Post Production.
Another part will be talking about general rules for photography, composition, how to play with light, how to plan and prepare your images. Followed by how to work them into a cohesive grid to get a more wow factor on your Instagram account.
The one day course has a theoretical part and a practical part. Workshop attendees can if they like and if it is possible sizewise bring their product to the workshop to practise with their own product.
For those of you who return after a previous workshop, you will always learn more and get better at your photography. Every workshop is a new experience and learning curve.”
