An amazing journey with an unlikely product

In the early 1990’s Kevin and a friend designed and manufactured the first Australian made guitar pick. It was intended to be a part time hobby but it turned into a business that employed 23 people working 24/7 at its peak! They supply some of the worlds greatest bands, sold into over 3500 retail stores in over 25 countries and Walmart in the USA. They have now sold over 60 million guitar picks. Kevin will explain this journey and how they became a leader in their industry. He shall divulge how they created so many world firsts only to be copied by major competitors. He also discusses how his company overcame the tyranny of distance from Australia, the GFC, the rise of online shopping and the many other challenges endured.
From his experience with Grover Allman, Kevin will also talk about his involvement in his other business, Buyologists, and how he has been able to assist in saving businesses money and improving their bottom line.
